I have divided the photos of our September Meeting into two parts this month due to the extra pics included in this trunk show.
When the Waverley Quilters turned 25 certain members were asked (volunteered!) to make a 16” square quilt to represent what was in vogue during each year of their existence. They used there own fabrics, but had a choice of three bindings in different shades of grey to bring all the quilts together. The group is now 30 years old and the five quilts to represent those years are in progress.
Here are the 25 mini quilts in date order – I must admit, they were a spectacular sight on our wall and created a lot of interest – you may some some familiar names among the makers of these quilts.

I apologise for the quality of some of the photos (note the quilts of course!!), but I’m sure you will agree that it is a wonderful display and we look forward to the next five quilts joining them.
