August 1st Meeting 2012 Part 2

These Wednesdays seen to come around fast these days, Wednesday 1st of August was no different. As usual we had a fabulous day, Lee Vause from Zentangles was our guest speaker, (see previous blog entry)
and as usual we had some terrific Show and Tell.

Again, I must apologise for missing blogging in July, my camera is still lost along with the photos from the July meeting, very frustrating, as neither DH or myself can think of where it could have been left, we  took it on a road trip to Bendigo, took lots of photos while we were there but the camera never came back home with us.

August 1st 2012 Meeting Part One

As usual we had a brilliant day our Carrum Downs Meeting. This month we had the pleaseure of meeting
Lee Vause, quilter and  teacher of Zentangles. Lee did a talk about her patchwork and quilting, her work is stunning.
The colour used in the the Diary cover Lee holding and the 2 small quilts is using the Derwent Inktense pencils.


The Wren and the Magpie are all done using thread


The Face Lee is holding is done using pencils, thread and embellishments, the 2nd face(the one with the green border) is done only in thread
The garden scene is done using thread and bits of ric rac to create a 3D effect
