Hello again everyone! Sorry for the delay - but I have been pretty bloggered with the school holidays and other nefarious activities, so have only just got our blog done. Plus being a "bear of little brain" I needed retraining for my second attempt at bloggery. I am learning more, so just be patient & expect a little improvement (hopefully) in layout etc each month. The comments, alas, will stay the same!!!!
This month I took more photos of our group at work ( Marilyn took the show & tell piccies - thank you Marilyn). I asked everyone the stop talking & look busy & then proceeded to miss most of their heads! So next month there will be more full frontals of our lovely group.
Bar's hexagon quilt - Bar must still be looking at the trading table!
A gorgeous one of Kate with her clever bag. I think I have worked out how it is done!
Wendy & Jennifer acting busy
Marilyn working on her stitchery - you see what I mean about the photography!
Wynn shashikoing away
Helen Y mid stitch working on her applique
Wendy & Sylvia admiring clever Jennifer's hand made jewellery
Helen E (moi) with autumn themed ( well, it has pumpkins & autumn leaves) quilt made 12 years ago
Moi again - Mermaid ( note lifesaver attached) & rose trellis cushion
Jo with one of Waverley Patchworkers "Gift Quilts" - very pretty
Jo once more - note snazzy shoes! With her autumn themed medallion quilt. See the clever arrangement of colour - from bright in the middle to more faded with each row.
Pam trying out a new bag pattern - with three bags for family & friends in wonderful fabrics
Robyn again with a lovely angel swag. I think there are not many Scquilters - particularly those in Angel swaps, who don't have this pattern.
Jan with her a lovely quilt for her grand daughter. The picture doesn't show the animals clearly - but they are really pretty. Plus Jan's DH did beading work on each animal - very clever.
Well, that is it for another month - our next meeting will take place on Wednesday 7th of May & will include "The Biggest Morning Tea" in aid of Breast Cancer Research. I just had a thought!! Why don't we bring along any pink quilts we may have made &/or wear something pink on the day???
Best wishes to our regulars who couldn't make it for various reasons, in particular to Sheila, whose DH "The Scot" is currently undergoing chemotherapy. Best wishes from all of us Sheila.
And a big thank you to those who left messages on the blog - I didn't even realise you could!!
