May 1st 2013 Meeting

It was lovely small meeting this month, but we had a great day just the same.
Before I get into the show and tell I would just like to let you all know that our June meeting is our Biggest Morning Tea meeting. We'll have a few raffles prizes, some yummy morning tea and we have a guest tutor coming in to do a little workshop - a mouse pincushion and cotton reel holder, should be fun.
Please come and join us for a fabulous day of chatter, laughs and stitching.

Ok on to show and tell, ................

Deidre  is working on an old (1990's) UFO, a Semco embroidery doily kit

Bronwyn's Periwinkle stars quilt is coming along very nicely

Wyn has made this 1600 quilt from batiks. She has appliqued some butteflies and added a border for this stunning effect.

Marilyn attended a  workshop with Noriko Endo, to come out with this gorgeous little Confetti quilt.

Jeanette attended Applique School run by Threadbear of Castlemaine. The class was with Di Ford, showing the ladies how to do needleturn Broderie Perse. The effect is just beautiful.
