Show and Tell - we had an Easter theme, but, as always, all show and tell was welcomed.
Miriam (welcome Miriam - a new Scquilter from Endeavour Hills) was working on a Starburst hand pieced quilt - hopefully we can show you the finished product next month - she brought along an Anne's Glory Box BOM, crazy pieced in diamond shapes with beautiful touches of lace, trims and embroidery.
Miriam also brought along a sweet Easter bunny - in keeping with the theme.
Wendy brought along a block roll (not pictured) she had made with a cut down pool noodle following Ramona's & Helen Y.'s show & tell last month. Plus, she had a gorgeous snowball/nine patch in girly fabric for her new great-niece.
Robyn brought in some Easter eggs - beautifully painted and decorated. Our Robyn is full of hidden talents!
Louise let us see a row of the Dear Jane she is doing, slowly, but exquisitely as always!
Lynne was in a 9 patch Christmas swap and has added stitcheries to produce a lovely quilt.
Lynne also brought a stunning disappearing 9 patch. Here it is!
Wynn brought a gorgeous quilt that she had made at the Ballarat Quilt in - using up the "Sweet Romance" range of fabrics. Cheryl Prater of Aspendale Vic custom quilted it beautifully.
Di - brought her Easter Bunnies out of the closet for our meeting. They were an ab fab trio.
Marilyn, our super humble over-achiever showed us her Oriental fabrics, out together in wonderful pattern and also quilted by Cheryl Prater.
Kate bought up some cheap and cheerfull fabrics to try Hidden Wells with this spectacular result.
Lastly myself, Helen E. dragged some mouldy oldies out of the quilt cupboard. One quilt of Easter Bunnies.
This one shows my "good face for radio" as it is commonly known! I am holding my Easter Bunny.
Well, I hope to improve my blogging by the time I do the report for next month's meeting. Speaking of which, our next meeting will take place on Wednesday 2nd April. It is a school holiday meeting so it will be a "Bring a plate to share for lunch" day! Our theme for Show and tell is "Autumn". We look forward to seeing both our regulars and any visitors on that date. Until then....... it is bye from your roving reporter,
And last of all my Liberty Cooks tablecloth that I bring out every Easter.
