September 2018 (part 0ne)

What a fabulous time we had - lots of visitors came to hear our guest speaker - Marie Lee from Very Snuggly Quilts. To find out more about these fantastic quilts - got to:

 https://www.victorianquilters.org/community/very-snuggly-quilts-quilts-of-love/

and also on the Vic quilters page are days for the diary dates for working bees around Victoria:

Basically, this group make quilts for the Royal Children's Hospital. You will find out all about the sizes required, as well as the fabrics you can and cannot use in making these much needed and much loved quilts. Marie did point out that there is a shortage of quilts for boys of all ages - so keep that in mind please.

Marie had a most wonderful collection of quilts to show us - she is a very busy and organised woman, who I am quite sure, could run the country in her spare few minutes a day.

So, here folks, is Marie's collection of quilts. Just a fraction of what she has made.
